Fire Department

Jefferson County Water District No. 10 Volunteer Fire Department was formed in 1983 to serve and protect the citizens of Jefferson County Water Control and Improvement District No. 10 in the Community of Central Gardens, Texas along with all surrounding rural areas.  The fire department also works with neighboring fire departments to serve and protect the citizens within Jefferson County, Texas.

Along with the highly visible services of fire and rescue, the fire department also provides other services such as medical assist, hazardous material and fire prevention.

All members of the fire department are volunteers and they do what they do for their neighbors and community.  Each member endures many hours of ongoing training to obtain their state certification to be a certified firefighter, this level of certification helps to ensure that the fire department provides the highest level of service.
