The Jefferson County Water District No. 10 Volunteer Fire Department was formed in 1983 to serve and protect the 4,347 citizens of Jefferson County Water Control and Improvement District No. 10 in the Community of Central Gardens, Texas along with all surrounding rural areas. The members also work extremely close with neighboring fire departments to serve and protect the citizens within Jefferson County, Texas.
Along with the highly visible services of fire and rescue, the department also provides other services such as medical assist, hazardous material, and fire prevention.
All members of the Jefferson County Water District No. 10 Volunteer Fire Department are volunteers and do what they do out of their love for their neighbors and community. Each member endures many hours of ongoing training to obtain their state certification to be a certified firefighter, this level of certification helps to ensure that the department provides the highest level of service to their community.
